  • What is Twist Resist?

    It is a weight-bearing exercise system that provides centripetal resistance, or torque, for a person to exercise any number of rotational exercises from bicep curl to spine rotation, and everything in between!

  • How can I learn more about the research needed?

  • What kind of research do you want?

    EMG studies showing which muscles are activated when using Twist Resist and compare to similar exercises commonly used with bands, cables, weights, manual manipulation, or self guided resistance.

  • What do you mean by torque resistance?

    Twist Resist along with its attachments will provide a user with consistent resistance throughout their fill range of motion, while also guiding them through the entire range of motion. ROM indicators also show what the range is.

  • Are there any electronics?

    NO

  • When would the research study need to take place?

    ASAP

  • Who will pay for the research study?

    Twist Resist will pay, or NIH or DOD will pay. If done through a grant, the application will be completed by a consultant, and the research institution will need to cooperate with the grant mechanism
